There have been several past presidents that have used different mediums to reach the masses. There have been weekly radio shows, press briefings, and now social media. Facebook and Twitter seem to be the platforms that a majority of politicians and political candidates use today. Presidents have used these platforms to their advantage in numerous ways. They can provide links to conduct political polls, they can provide different documents for people to review policies, and they can post ads and videos. A President will use these mediums in order to get their campaign promises and achievements out to the masses. Since President Trump is the current president, I will use him as my example. It is known that President Trump and the media have a contentious relationship.
